How much would a plot of land in the wilderness cost?

One of my dreams is to buy a plot of land in the wilderness. I would probably want to own a horse so I could explore with it. I don't want to just go camping and then go back to my dreary house in the city. The wilderness is really my place. I know this might sound pretty far stretched but, does anyone know how much a place like this would cost? If you have any advice or anything feel welcome to post. it depends were you want to buy it. lets say oklahoma you can get between 2000 to 7000 but in new mexico were ther is pleanty of land but yo have to have a septic tank since water is so expensive youl spend a lot lease
In my experience, it could be any amount. However, the average is perhaps 2000.00How much would a plot of land in the wilderness cost?
Well, you can buy a plot of land in Kansas City for as cheap as $150. There is no set price for land, it depends entirely on the location and the acreage. My guess is that true "wilderness" land is only available in larger amounts. It's not really wilderness unless you have free reign over quite a big spread.

Here's a link to a 'commercial' site. They are a 'for-profit' business, but it should give you a starting point.

These aren't true 'wilderness' lots, as they are much too small, but they may be in a price range that makes it more feasable to purchase one.

Good luck.
