Whats the most abundant wilderness for human survival in the United States?

If I had to walk out into the widlerness right now and fend for myself....Where is the most abundant and resourceful spot in the united states?Whats the most abundant wilderness for human survival in the United States?
I'd vote for the swamps in Louisiana: some of them still qualify as "wilderness", and there are abundant resources for living in them; lots of animals, birds and fish (and crawdads!) to eat, plenty of plants of all kinds to eat and lots of trees to build things with. You could use vines for ropes, plant a garden on an island.... of course you'd need a boat but this is not that much of a problem. The "Cajuns", descendants of the French settlers who were kicked out of Atlantic Canada after the English won the French/English wars in 1749, have lived in these swamps (the "Louisiana Bayous") for the past 250 years and have done well using the resources to be found there. Forget about Alaska - unless you are VERY resourceful and skillful, you'd have a hard time in the long cold winters.
There is a high spot in the Bob Marshall Wilderness (Montana) where everywhere you look is protected wilderness. And since it is not in an atrocious climate, you may be able to survive all right.

Areas of the southern Appalachian Mountains seem to attract survivalists, but they are not vast areas.

The Frank Church Wilderness area (Idaho) is also quite vast.

There are areas in southern Alaska that would provide solitude and sustenance. Check out the books and video of Richard Proenneke.Whats the most abundant wilderness for human survival in the United States?
Maybe not the most resourceful place, but the 5th ward in Houston is pretty wild and human survival is against all odds
Hawaii. Nice warm temperature, plenty of fresh water, lots of food (if you know what to look for).
In to the Wild 2?
