What can be said of the Union army during the brutal Wilderness Campaign?

-It ran short of troops to continue on to Richmond.

-Badly needed supplies and munitions arrived often.

-It got too far ahead of its main supply depots.

-Plenty of fresh soldiers kept the army strong.

Plenty of fresh soldiers kept the army strong.
I can say that I have read both "Marching to Col Harbor: Victory %26amp; Failure" by R. Wayne Maney, and "Bloody Roads South: The Wilderness to Cold Harbor, May-June, 1864" by Noah Andre Trudeau.

Have you read any books on the Wilderness Campaign or the American Civil War??What can be said of the Union army during the brutal Wilderness Campaign?
P.O.U.M. and I do not usually agree. But I have to say his question to you asking if you have read any books on the Civil War has merit.

Calm down P.O.U.M. I'm sure we'll disagree on the next question.
