i think it is fairly recent moive. i think he might have lived in a VW bus while in the forest. I thought he died while living in the wilderness too.

Into The Wild - its a true story. He went to Alaska and found an old bus with a stove, bed . . . he ended up getting trapped by the rising river and died . . . I won't ruin it by telling you what they think happened to him. It was taken from a book and made into a movie.
