How do I prepare for a wilderness field trip?

I already know that I have to wear long clothing and tennis shoes but what else is there to know?



My teacher didn't have time to tell us everything.



I have today and tomorrow to prepare.



Ideas?How do I prepare for a wilderness field trip?
bug spray (OFF), TP Roll, toiletries, flashlight w/ extra batteries, Small cooler bag for food and drinks, sunscreen, itch cream, sleeping bag, and lots of coffee and ipod...and if it applies to you.. don't forget tampons..
