Jesus and Buddha had this habit of meditating in the wilderness?

Buddha always waked in to the Himalayan jungle region and spent weeks and months meditating while jesus did the same by walking in to the desert wilderness of the middle east

Why do most Christians disregard the jungles and nature while the Buddhists keep cutting down their rain forests in return for money when both them founders of these 2 great religions had a unique connection to mother nature?Jesus and Buddha had this habit of meditating in the wilderness?
Meditation is always done in the wilderness, away from chirping of the society

what is surprising in it ?
If you want to meditate for more than 5 minutes in this world, you gotta go where people can't find you to bother you

Buddhists don't live in the Rainforest - Buddhists reside primarily in Asia, while Rainforests are in South America

But your basic critique is noted - most people's religion is more like a pair of pants they wear until they get too fat and can't fit in them any longer - in other words, it's something they think they need to have but it it's uncomfortable to do what they want while wearing them, they just buy a new pair that looks like the old ones, only they fit what they want to doJesus and Buddha had this habit of meditating in the wilderness?
Jesus and Buddha are the prime figures of Their respective religion. Of course, because nature

pictures the flow of how things go about the way the Highest Being wants it to be, They will

wish to attain nirvana, for Buddha, and communication to the Highest, for Jesus, through

"immersing" in nature and "retreating" from the world, because They always seek for

spiritual callings, always seek to have "inner stability" through communicating with Him with

the help of most basic thing that the He created. Now not all ordinary mortals have that

strong longing for more spiritual understanding or strong desire to go beyond the boundaries

of what ordinary men can take, whatever it may be in the form of. That's why for most men, it's

easier to decide whether to destroy a natural habitat or not, for his most basic instinct is to

satisfy his own physiological needs or material wants.
Buddhists know that nothing lasts forever, so I don't think they care.

Anyway, most Buddhists countries aren't wealthy and they're still developing, but trees are an abundant resource. If I wanted to make money in one of those countries I would cut down all the trees I could find.
Back in the day people with epilepsy would go into caves or the woods because if the others seen them take a seizure they would have them killed.
that's a pretty sweeping generalisation isn't it? How do you know most Christians disregard the jungle?
dude, all christians sure sidharta is in hell

how a bout you?

are you abudhist or a christian?

which one?

or mix? both
Jesus is fiction though.
