Do you call roughing it sleeping out under the stars camping in the wilderness or?

Taking the RV and living it up out in the wilderness?Do you call roughing it sleeping out under the stars camping in the wilderness or?
Camping like we did in the good old days. Put up the tent, get out the lantern, get out the ice chest, and the wooden box filled with food supplies, put the sleeping bags in the tent, build a campfire, go fishing and when you catch them, wrap them in foil with lemon, onion, seasoning, wrap some potatoes, carrots and onions in foil, put both the fish wraps and the veggie wraps on the coals. Enjoy a nice dinner around the campfire. That was roughing it for us! The fishing was both relaxing and fun. We camped that way from the time I was a little kid and even when raising my kid. I am an older grandma now and we have a camper on our pick-up, I laughed the first time I heat up hot chocolate in the microwave. We still stay up late around a campfire and enjoy the stars.
Roughing it was so much fun. We can still cook over the coals. Our camper is really small, so we are outdoors other than to sleep and sometimes cook. More fun around the camfire visiting or hiking. I enjoy camping more than I can say. :-)

RV camping is not my idea of roughing it or camping. My definition is using a tent and building a fire. Gas stoves are allowed too. I do understand why people do like RV camping, it does provide some comfort and shelter and gives you a much better sleep not to mention better bathroom facilities.

I've never RV camped before so I can't really comment on it too much but I do know it is a level up on the comfort scale.
If it is a nice warm night, I ratter sleep under the stars, on top of my sleeping bag and counting the stars in the wilderness. Which I have done many times before.
dont be a wuss, go sleep under the stars, or if its going to rain, get a tarp or tent.
Okay, we cheat. We go to the desert with our quads and motor home and call it camping. But, I intensely dislike eating sand. :D
Its still camping, but its not the same of sleeping in a tent.
I think it is camping in the wilderness
