Do you preferred development to wilderness preservation?

if a Disney like resort opened in wilderness area near you, would you be willing to pay money to visit? If so, would that be evidence that you preferred development to wilderness preservation?Do you preferred development to wilderness preservation?
I prefer the wilderness ! Never been to a Disney and never will.
n oDo you preferred development to wilderness preservation?
No to the resort.Preserve some not all. A consensus of the people in a democracy decides how much.
I would prefer to detonate C4 in that Disney resort.
Where you live was once wilderness. Having benefited from it's destruction, why should deny the same to others?

Arguments such as "It wasn't me that destroyed the wilderness that was here" or "It happened a long time ago." aren't acceptable.

May 'save the wilderness" campaigns seek to have no body using the land. If then do then it's no roads, no motorized vehicles etc. That severely limits the use to only those healthy enough to hike miles and miles.

Another issue is denying people the use of their own land. Take the Disney resort example. OK tell them they can't build. Tell them the land is going to be wilderness. Now answer the lawsuits. You don't think you can just take someone's land do you? It you want that land you'll have to buy it. No doubt at a price to compensate for the loss of income and investment.

It's very easy to pick a big corporation (Disney) and set up a story where most would choose to "save the trees." Why not ask how they would pay to buy the wilderness and lock it up? The ask who has done this?
