What are some good national park/wilderness locations in the eastern US?

I visited Cook Forest national park in pennsylvania, and the Cranberry Backcounty in West Virginia last year. I didn't have time to see as much of the Cranberry as I would've liked to and was considering going back this spring or summer

Are there any other nice, wild and remote areas in the eastern US that measure up to the Cranberry Wilderness? What are some good national park/wilderness locations in the eastern US?
Yes, the Blue Ridge. Take Skyline Drive all the way down to the Smokey Mountains. Biggest trees east of the Rockies.

Monongahela National Forest in West VA.

Around Jim Thorpe, PA.

Worthing State Forest in NW NJ. part of the AT.
There is Blue Ridge Parkway in NCWhat are some good national park/wilderness locations in the eastern US?
Depending on how far you're willing to travel, I highly recommend Isle Royale National Park off Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula in Lake Superior. Also Maine has recently added more wilderness areas.
