Are there any Australian Aboriginals living in the wilderness with their original culture? Are there any Australian Aboriginals living in the wilderness with their original culture?
i doubt it! the australian government offers aboriginals places to live and benefits to live (which the majority spend on drugs and alcohol) but thats a hole other debate!
There are still some Aboriginal people with Semi- Traditional lifestyles ( such as in Central Australia) but this is rapidly changing. I mean they only eat small amounts of traditional food, and most of there traditions are virtually non- existant.. But yet they have not fully adopted the white lifestyle its like they are stuck in transition and really need to make the change to help them move forward and perhaps to get better health..Are there any Australian Aboriginals living in the wilderness with their original culture?
yeah. not as much as there used 2 be but yeah.
Yes there is on Queensland's Cape York and they live as closely as they can to their traditional ways. The sort of things you cannot take in even if your driving through or visiting is alcohol, drugs, weapons(unless your licenced)processed food(natural is okay)even unleaded petrol is banned(some people think it's good to sniff), all vehicles must be diesel.
The answer is yes, we have a huge country. You are most likely to find them in Northern Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia. They are isolated communities, you are required to get permission from tribal elders to enter this land.
As to some of the other responses, they are pretty over generalised. Yes our government does give people in need money. Yes some choose to spend the money poorly. We have some huge social issues around Aboriginals, but as I said it is a big country and I would suggest that the other people they have answered have not left their cosy city life styles to make such huge judgements.
yes when they go "walkabout"
no
