I mean why not live in the wilderness a few hundred miles south of there? Where it's actually feasible (If you can find a big enough tract of land)? I watched Into The Wild and it's like they're romanticising his idiocy. He died! Whats to great about that?
Is it even possible, at all, for someone to live by themselves in the alaskan wilderness? Why do so many people run away to alaska and try to live in the wilderness?
They arent romanticizing it, theyre telling the true story. Read the book, its much better than the movie. They left a lot out in the movieWhy do so many people run away to alaska and try to live in the wilderness?
Alaska is considered to be one of the last great frontiers.
