In runescape if you die in the new wilderness will you lose your 3 items?

I went into the wilderness and died by another player and i lost all 3 of my most valuable items wich it says i shouldnt have. Do you lose all of your items because i did.In runescape if you die in the new wilderness will you lose your 3 items?
You should have only kept your 3 most valuable items.

Their should be something on the interface which tells you what those 3 important items are if you hadn't checked..
