%26gt;_%26lt; but how might humans affect it?Can humans live in the wilderness area and not affect it?
No animal can live in a wilderness area without affecting it. You probably want to know if a human can live in a wilderness area without changing its basic character. First you need to make clear what aspects of its character you wish to keep unchanged. When a bear scrapes its claws on a tree, or a wolverine digs a den in the ground they are changing the character of a wilderness. But you would probably accept these changes. So if a human cleared an area for his tent and built a small rock ring fireplace is that acceptable. But what if he planted a garden of vegetable. He would need a fence to protect it from the deer. Then the weather would get cold and he would want a house that he could heat. Which changes would be acceptable. You decide.
NO, because simply walking one might kill bugs, crush plants, they need to eat and do common bodily functions. For a small list. Can humans live in the wilderness area and not affect it?
Every living being affects the environment around it.
Certain plants can be introduced in to a new habitat and completely destroy it or alter it drastically.
When animals are introduced to new locations they upset the order and can hurt the food chain.
Humans need to be more careful about how they affect the world around them. But it would be impossible to not affect it in some way.
No. even walking will cause an effect. Relieving themselves will effect it. Eating and the waste of food will effect it. Garbage effects it. Fire (or whatever used for warmth and bathing) effects it....
The way to have little impact would be to import small amounts of food from outside the area, compost all compost able garbage. Buildings would have to have low impact: solar and earth heating systems. Food grown in the house.
Also the area would have to be able to sustain the people living there.
humans definitely affect the wildreness area if they inhabit it. for them to live there, they need house, food etc. so they remove wilderness and start cultivating. in fact when man evolved earth was nothing but a huge wilderness area
No humans are not self dependent.
