What is the easiest way to get to the Trail's End Buffeteria in Ft. Wilderness in Disney World?

I read that they have a great all you can eat buffet, but I read that it is near Magic Kingdom. Upon looking at a map of the Disney World Resort, I saw that it appeared to be closer to EPCOT. If you can tell me the best way to get there (and from which park), that would be great!

Many thanks in advance! What is the easiest way to get to the Trail's End Buffeteria in Ft. Wilderness in Disney World?
Ok, first where are you coming from?

The Fort Wilderness Campground is closest to the Magic Kingdom.

Here is how you get there:

FROM MGM, EPCOT, ANIMAL KINGDOM- hop on the Fort Wilderness Campground bus. There are two stops that the buses drop you off at in the campground, but they do not stop at both... it is one or the other depending on the park you are coming from. The Settlement Depot which is where you need to get, and The Outpost Depot. If they drop you off at the outpost depot hop on any of the buses that run throughout the campground. There are orange, yellow and purple lines. Each one will run from the Outpost to the Settlement and vice versa. When walking from the Settlement bus stop toward the dock (see below) Trails End will be on the left.

FROM MAGIC KINGDOM- hop on the Fort Wilderness campground boat. The dock is straight out the main gates of the Magic Kingdom. When exiting the main gates the buses are to the left, dock straigh ahead and monorail to the right. Ride the boat to the Campground and stay on that path (there is only one way to go) and Trail's End will be on your right.

IF STAYING AT WILDERNESS LODGE you can walk to the campground (not too far, but it will work up your appetite) or catch the boat to the campground.

IF STAYING IN HOTEL ON MONORAIL CIRCUIT you can get off at the Magic Kingdom (all transportation stops are outside the main gates) or the Contemporary, which also has a boat that runs to the Campground.

IF STAYING IN ANOTHER DISNEY HOTEL you will have to get to a major park to catch the Fort Wilderness bus or boat. Buses do not run from hotel to hotel.

IF STAYING OFF DISNEY PROPERTY you will drive to the Campground and have to park in the Outpost parking lot. You will then need to catch a purple, yellow or orange bus as discussed before. The Outpost is the closest vehicles are allowed to park without a camping reservation.

Their food is good, and plentiful. Reservations are not necessary, but we have had to wait in the past. If possible try and eat there and then do a day at Magic Kingdom. It is a quick 15 min boat trip. Trail's End also has all you can eat lunch and dinner buffets.

**The campground also has pony rides and a petting zoo for little ones near the Settlement Depot. A free (so nice to see that word with WDW) nightly Disney movie and campfire, canoeing, fishing and paddle boats at the Meadows Trading Post and horseback riding located near the Outpost.
You can catch a bus to Fort Wilderness from any of the theme parks. It does not make a great deal of difference in travel time which park you go from. But yes, entrance to Fort Wilderness is along the same road as the entrance to Magic Kingdom.

Breakfast is served 7:30-11:00, lunch from noon until 2:30, and dinner from 4:30-9:30 (10:00 on Friday and Saturday). What is the easiest way to get to the Trail's End Buffeteria in Ft. Wilderness in Disney World?
Driving there would be the best possible option, but if you don't have a rental car then taking the boat launch from the front of the Magic Kingdom to Ft. Wilderness would most likely be the easiest and fastest way.
best way is to take a resort launch from the dock in front of the magic kingdom. bus is very slow
