If Jesus had submitted to Satan when tempted in the wilderness , what next would have happened?

If you say Jesus was God %26amp; could not be tempted or submit to Satan , then what point was there to the temptation , it would be meaningless. If Jesus had submitted to Satan when tempted in the wilderness , what next would have happened?
A good, serious question. The first thing Satan tried with Jesus was to get him so doubting having heard the Father's voice at his baptism (saying Jesus was his Son, with whom he was well pleased), that Jesus would put that belief to the test. Satan said, "IF you are the Son of God, turn....." So if Jesus had fallen for that temptation, it would have proved that Jesus doubted whether he really was the Son of God.

Don't forget, Jesus had given up his heavenly estate and humbled himself to being born as a man. He had to learn from the scriptures and the Holy Spirit his true identity and purpose. He had done that, and began his ministry with baptism. Unsurprisingly, Satan was desperate to scupper that ministry right at the outset. The temptation was real enough, not least because Jesus had just spent 40 days in the wilderness and he was physically as weak as a kitten. The point to the temptation (from Satan's point of view) was to try a repeat performance of the Garden of Eden, to make a sinless man sin and thus thwart God's purposes. Jesus could be tempted because he was fully human, but due to knowing what it's like to suffer temptation and resist it, Jesus can be our great High Priest, who understands the problem of temptation.
First Jesus is God. N if He did submit to Satan; the Atonement for the sins of mankind would have being no value.

Temptation is the enticement to do evil. Satan is depicted as "tempting" Christ in the wilderness鈥攁ttempting, without success, to have him betray his trust in God (cf. Matt. 4:13; Mark 1:13; Luke 4:2; Heb. 2:18; 4:15).If Jesus had submitted to Satan when tempted in the wilderness , what next would have happened?
It will be no "if" because Jehovah picked Jesus and knew he is the right person for the job.

And there is more...

Satan knew Jesus can be tempting; however, Satan isn't that stupid because he knew, he can't tempting Jehovah, for that he is our God. (PEOPLE: Think harder!)

Remember when Jesus baptized? After when he get up; Jesus now began to remember all about his earlier life in heaven with God.

After that then he know what his job is requirement to do.
nope your logic doesn't make sense, it wouldn't be meaningless... god doesn't control satan... he gave everybody free willl.... even though god knows everything that satan will do... god just let satan try to tempt him so he could beat him to his dirty little game
Because Jesus was more than just human, but the Son of God, therefore, he couldn't be tempted like us regular people.
Fantastic answer Sasi.
Why do you waste time and effort speculating on what could not have happened? Focus on what did happen.
X rated scenes.
Moses would've saved him.
Then Richard Simmons would have boldly stepped in as our Savior
